Simplestcabins small buildings are supported by eight foundation poles. Each pole must take on vertical load of 2400 kg (23,5kJ). Depending on the place of use the soil type and load capacity varies. Consult your local building specialist when laying the groundwork.
On top of the foundation poles two mountable base joists made of three deep impregnated timber details will be fixed. The foundation design solution must ensure that each base joist that is on top of foundation pole should have a minimum surface support of 200 cm².
Due to different natures of the soil the foundation project and materials are not included in simplestcabin standard delivery set.
The floors are insulated with 150 mm Paroc mineral wool of thermal conductivity λ = 0,036. Base layers of floor panels consist of wind barrier material and a dense metal net for rodent protection. Internal coating is a veneer.
External and internal walls
External walls are insulated with 100 mm Paroc mineral wool of thermal conductivity λ= 0,036. External covering has a two-layered ventilated vertical boarding and a wind barrier material, internal covering is a non-finished OSB board.
Interior walls are filled with Paroc mineral wool and covered with non-finished OSB boards on both sides.
Wall insulation can easily be upgraded to 150 mm
Doors and windows
Windows – outwards opening double or triple glazed units with U-value from 0,76 W/m²K. Colour: white RAL 9010. Doors – external doors 905 x 2085 mm, U-value from 0,8 W/m²K. ASSA locking system. Colour: white RAL 9010. Windows and doors are installed on the wall elements with water cills included. 2300 mm wide sliding door is installed on site.
Ceiling and roof
Ceiling elements are insulated with 200 mm Paroc mineral wool with thermal conductivity λ= 0,036. Exterior covering is OSB boards with a ventilation gap and wind barrier material under it. Interior covering is OSB boards.
Flat roof is glued onto the ceiling panels. Roofing materials are not included. Please check with your local service provider for the supply.
Pitched roof – roof trusses are installed onto the ceiling panels and gable end boards onto each end of the building. Roof trusses are covered with cut to size OSB boards, edge boards cover the edges. Base cover of the eaves is OSB finishing boards. Pitched roof is supplied complete with asphalt shingle roof cover Icopal Plano.
Rainwater system – square gutter, pipe system for downstream on the flat roof, chain on the gable roof.
Roof accessories – drip edges.
Technical details of simplestcabins
Simplestcabins small houses are technically thought out and their erection is simple. Basic constructions of the house are insulated and it is suitable for year-round use. The house can be connected to local utility networks. Contact your local dealer or a specialist to organise this.

Terrace elements are not included in standard package. According to the plot plan you will be able to order terrace elements with dimensions 1200 x 3600 mm and 1200 x 2400 mm. Terrace elements are made of deep impregnated material and are covered with groove surface boards.
Assembling instructions and and accessories
Good engineering practice and latest health and safety requirements should be followed during the whole house installation process. Necessary connecting pieces (brackets, screws, nails) for installing the house are supplied with the set of house elements. In addition each set comes with an installation guide with detailed drawings. Guides are available in Swedish and English languages.
Inside finishing works, heating, cooling, water and electricity
Interior works and communications of the house are not included in the standard package. Contact your local building service provider on interior works and communications
You can choose Simplestcabins models in four standard colors (see below). Simplestcabins design models can be delivered also with natural panelling without factory finish
